Tremper's yearbook, The Classic, has been a consistent award winner at the Journalism Education Association National Yearbook Best of Show Competitions. Since 1994, it has been in the "High School Press Hall of Fame" by the National Scholastic Press Association, ranking in the top five, 2006-2010. The 2002 yearbook, Coming Up for Air, was awarded First Place, Best of Show in April 2003. [2] In 2006, the "Classic", Shift Within, placed second in the JEA/NSPA Denver, 2007 Conference Best of Show.[3] Six of our staff members took home awards in the Journalism Education Association National Yearbook Write-Off Competition in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Tremper Library Media Center was built as a bridge between the east and west wings of the school. It contains computers for student and staff use and has activities throughout the year to promote learning and reading.
In honor of Read Across America week, [4] the students from Vernon Elementary School walk to Tremper to read stories and participate in activities with the high school students. The library has also hosted a "Green Eggs and Ham" breakfast fundraiser and holds a Dr. Seuss quote contest for the high school students.[5]
The library is the venue for the annual Advanced Placement Student Art show. [6] Student artwork, from drawings and paintings to sculptures, are on display for the community.
Every year, Tremper Student Government organizes the biggest student-led blood drive in Wisconsin, and likely the nation. The Blood Centers of Southeast Wisconsin have verified its number one standing. [7] They recruit approximately 2000 donors, and historically expect about a 50% turnout. The total capacity of the blood drive is about 800 donors; Some donors are turned away because for various reasons they are not eligible to donate. The blood drive gets enormous community support from blood centers throughout southeast Wisconsin, who close down to send support staff and equipment to the school site.[7]
The athletic teams compete in the WIAA Southeast Conference.

Tremper tennis teams play in the "SEC conference". The tennis teams at Tremper excel, with the girls team consistently in the top half of their sectional and the boys team has ranked in the top 10 in the state. In 2010 the boys' team were both 2010 Conference Champions and the 2010 Sectional Champions. [10]
